The Canadian Association of Medical Publishers is a non-profit organization and our mission is to: advance health sciences and medical communications in Canada.

CAMP invests in programs, education seminars and print communications designed to communicate the tremendous reach and importance of member publications and journals to the medical profession.

In partnership with Dendrite, we produce a monthly report called The Advertising Analysis Report (AAR). This report assists those seeking competitive insights on medical journal advertising insertion data.

In addition, we keep the pharmaceutical, publishing and advertising sectors up-to-date and informed about third party research. Two solid examples include the recent "landmark" studies from Yale and Dartmouth College, which provide actual data on ROI for pharmaceutical promotion.

Very importantly, CAMP is also a "voice" at PAAB, The American Association of Medical Publications and other trade associations on issues that affect us all.

You may be encouraged further by knowing our advertising guidelines are developed in consultation with RX&D. The guidelines are designed to ensure consistence and equity among advertisers.

Medical publishers provide timely information on best practices and evidence based research the shapes the current standards of practice. No other medium can deliver the national audience in its totality , as frequently or as cost effectively.
